Installation Guidelines

1.1 For threaded gate valves, ensure that the gate is in the fully closed position during installation and tightening. Sealing materials such as PTFE tape should be clean and free of debris.

1.2 When installing threaded gate valves, ensure that the pipe is perpendicular to the valve body end face. Only grip the hexagonal or octagonal portion on the same side as the thread during tightening—do not grip the opposite hexagonal or octagonal portion. The installation torque should not exceed 50 N·m for DN15 and DN20, and should not exceed 70 N·m for DN25 to avoid valve body deformation or impaired operation.

1.3 When connecting a threaded gate valve to the pipe end, the internal thread can be either tapered or parallel, but the external thread must be tapered pipe thread. Failure to comply may result in loose connection and leakage.

1.4 This point repeats the requirement stated in section 1.3: internal threads can be tapered or parallel, while external threads must be tapered to prevent leakage from loose connections.

1.5 To operate the Triangle Lockable Gate Valve: turn clockwise to close and counterclockwise to open. Do not use any additional tools or excessive force, as this may damage the valve structure.

1.6 It is recommended to use the valve only in the fully open or fully closed positions to prolong its service life. The valve should not be partially opened for throttling purposes and should not be used as an end valve.
