Valve installation guidelines and memory lock setting instructions:

The indicator on the valve handwheel should face a direction visible to the commissioning personnel. Obstructions should be avoided in front of the pressure test joint on the valve body to ensure that a dedicated smart instrument can be connected for detection during commissioning.

The pipeline where the valve is installed must have the same nominal diameter.

Maker sure there is no contaminants in the pipeline and the valve before installation .

To protect the valve from potential impurities, install a filter upstream of the valve.

During installation, the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the direction marked on the valve body.

The valve can be installed horizontally or vertically.

If the valve is installed after a curved pipe section, it is recommended to keep the straight pipe section before the valve at a minimum (length equals 5 times the nominal diameter of the valve).

If there is a circulator (pump) before the valve, the minimum recommended length of straight pipe is 10 times the nominal diameter of the valve itself.

After the valve has been commissioned, to maintain the system balance status, the valve opening should not be changed randomly during normal system operation, and in particular, the opening locking device should not be changed.

Memory Lock Setting

The Static Balancing Valve has a position memory device, remove the dust cap and follow these steps for the required locking setting:

1.Use a small tool in the small groove between the dust cap and the handwheel, and then take it out.

2.Insert a 5mm hexagon wrench into the center of the handwheel, and keep the rotation in the required position.

3.Press the dust cap back into place.
