1.1. GenTant Thermostatic Mixing Valve With Side Water Outlet is designed to maintain a given liquid temperature in domestic hot water systems (DHW) and floor heating systems.
1.2. Thermostatic mixing valves are equipped with a safety system against scalding with boiling water (the valve shuts off the mixed liquid flow if there is no cold water supply).
1.3. The constant temperature of the mixed water is set by the valve's adjusting knob within the established temperature range.

Installation and operation instructions
3.1. To ensure correct operation of the Thermostatic Mixing Valve With Side Water Outlet, it is necessary to make sure that there are no contaminants in the pipeline before installation. It is recommended to install a filter at the system inlet.
3.2. The mixer body indicates (see figure below):
hot water inlet with red color;
cold water inlet with blue color;
mixed water outlet with red-blue.
3.3. The water temperature at the outlet of the thermostatic mixing valve is set using the adjusting knob in accordance with the table below.

3.4. The use of lever wrenches during valve installation is not allowed.
3.5. Threaded connections must be made using FUM (fluoroplastic sealing material) or plumbing polyamide thread as sealing materials.

Operation and technical maintenance
4.1. The thermostatic mixing valve must be operated at the pressure and temperature specified in the technical specifications table.
4.2. Repair and replacement of the valve is allowed only when the heat transfer fluid has been drained.
